The payment deadline for Asian Freediving Cup 2023 was almost two weeks ago. The record quick sign-up time was followed by a record high confirmation of signed-up athletes as well.

For men: One diver from China has withdrawn. This means that the divers in the waiting list for Chinese divers have been moved one spot up. 

For women: Nine of the originally signed up divers were unable to join, and one that was waiting declined the invitation. For the waiting list this means that everyone on the Chinese waiting list is two spots up, while everyone on the international waiting list is eight spots higher.

We have sent email invitations to everyone on the waiting list that got a spot this time around. If someone doesn’t want to join, please let us know early so we can fill the spot.

Next big date now where more spots might open is the 8th of April, which is the refund deadline. We’re still also waiting for confirmations from the divers that were in the waiting list.

UPDATE Feb 28:
Some more spots has been offered. For women divers we’re currently at 14 in the international waiting list, and three in the Chinese waiting list.
