Women
In the overall ranking Xu Tongtong took a big step towards winning AIDA Asian Freediving Cup 2025. After the third dive Mariko Kaji is the only one that could practically catch up, but she’s a bit more than 4 WR%-points behind. It would require a massive dive on the last day for Mariko to make the jump to the top of the podium.
Alice Ellialtioglu has secured three strong and counting dives and seems very likely to repeat her 3rd place from AIDA Asian Freediving Cup 2024.
In the battle for 4-6th place that guarantees awards, Ying Huang seems destined for a spot, but there are a lot of divers in the pack that might catch up. Kumo Wong and Namin Kim are currently spots 5 and 6.
There are several divers with points in only two disciplines that could make big improvements in their scores on the last diving day.
We’re prepared for an exciting finish!

Men
On the 7th Sergey Zykov put himself solidly in contention in the overall ranking, before we had to take a medical break and postponed the rest of the dives to the 8th.
The 8th started with a solid 102 meter CWTB dive to Mitch Ayres and a continental record for Oceania. Kai Xiao made a continental record for Asia later that day with 80 meters in CNF!
In the third dive of the day Zhiying Yu secured a solid dive in his CWTB, his third discipline of the event, placing him at the top of the overall ranking before the last diving day.
Kim Dahlgren failed to go all the way to the bottom of his 92m FIM dive, but it was still enough for a podium position after three diving days for men.
Hua Yang Huang got a white card in CNF, placing him 5th overall, with scores in only two disciplines!
Viktor Korsun got his third white card of the competition for his 57m CNF dive, and is currently second overall.
