We’re extremely happy to welcome back Mr. Asian Freediving Cup, Sendoh Wang, to the 2024 event. Sendoh has been winning six times in a row – which is all events except the inaugural one.
Kurt Chambers will be looking to challenge for the overall after getting silver medals two years in a row. Kurt and Sendoh are the only men athletes that have been on the podium before. Main challenger this year will probably be Alexey Molchanov who will make his first appearance in the AIDA Asian Freediving Cup.
There’s also a pack of other divers right behind that might very well challenge for podium spots: including Lin Zhu (Costa) from China, HuaYang Huang from Taiwan, Omar Al Ghailani from Oman, and Pepe Salcedo from Mexico.
The only local athlete for men is Jayson Edward Ramirez, we’re looking forward to see what kind of dives he will do, and he will surely have plenty of local support.
