The preparations for Asian Freediving Cup 2024 have already started. We’d like to share some information about the plans so far, to help divers prepare their competition season.

New for this year is that we’re planning to allow 100 registrations! That’s 40 more than last year, and 20 more than we had back in 2019. This will make it the biggest non-world championship depth event in Asia ever! To accommodate the increase in athletes we will have two dive lines.

We will have eight competition days, same as 2023 – but we will add a rest (or backup) day in the middle. The closing ceremony the day after the last competition day, to allow athletes and the organizing team to have a small breather before the celebrations. This means we will have an extra backup day as well.

We’re happy to announce that Hi-Dive will join as co-organizer of the event. They will also sponsor 8000 USD in cash prizes. We will come back later to how this will be distributed. 

Familiar sponsors CETMA Composites and BESTDIVE are joining Asian Freediving Cup 2024 as well. More sponsors are expected.

Registration will open 8th of December as usual.
